About the job
You will work with internal stakeholders such as the Front Office, Credit, Legal, Compliance and Operations to facilitate a smooth closing process for new transactions.
You will review legal documentation from an operational angle and ensure the approved conditions in the credit application have been included in the agreement. You will monitor the satisfaction of Condition Precedent (CP) items and will ensure CPs and internal requirements (including KYC) are met prior to giving the instructions to Operations to disburse the loan. You will monitor Condition Subsequent events, as well as monitor and follow up on information and financial covenants under the respective loan transactions. You will also maintain an archiving system to safe keep the original legal documents and scanned copies.
You will advise the internal and external clients on operational matters, and will assist clients in resolving operational problems. You will maintain client and loan static data in Avaloq, GAC and Kondor+ and ensure data quality is accurate and up to date. You will also update client limits and credit review dates in Avaloq.
You will prepare regulatory reports such as MAS Top 100, MAS Surveys etc., as well as prepare the regular portfolio management reports and the internal management reports for the Head Office. You will prepare new or update existing procedures on a regular basis, and work on projects when assigned by the Head of Department and Chief Operating Officer.
- Bachelor degree
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in credit administration or in the credit middle office
- Able to read and understand standard syndicated and bilateral loan agreements
- Able to communicate with internal and external clients and stakeholders
