This is a pivotal role for an individual who thrives in a client-centric, fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering tailored investment solutions across equity-linked and fixed income structured products.
You will structure, price, and execute a comprehensive range of equity-linked and fixed income structured products, ensuring solutions are aligned with client objectives and current market trends.
Partnering closely with Relationship Managers, Sales teams, Trading Desks, and clients to identify opportunities and deliver bespoke investment strategies, you will analyze market developments to originate and present innovative investment ideas.
You will prepare and deliver product presentations, term sheets, payoff analyses, and risk scenario assessments for internal and external stakeholders. You will oversee the full lifecycle management of structured products, including monitoring, hedging, and proactive client servicing.
You will develop, enhance and maintain pricing tools, templates, and automation processes using VBA and Excel macros. You will ensure strict adherence to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and robust product governance standards.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including legal, compliance, operations, and risk management, you will ensure seamless product delivery and risk mitigation. You will service and perform trade-related tasks (margin checks, trade input, etc.) for Direct Access Clients and External Asset Managers (EAMs).
You will also contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous process improvement initiatives, as well as assume any other tasks as assigned.
Pre-requisites
- At least 8 – 10 years of relevant experience in structured products, treasury advisory, capital markets, or investment solutions, preferably within a private banking or institutional environment
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Familiarity with pricing platforms (e.g., Bloomberg) and other market data systems
- CFA or other relevant professional qualifications will be considered an asset
- Deep understanding of equity-linked structures, fixed income solutions, and derivative-based investment products
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with demonstrable experience in VBA programming and macro development
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a client-oriented environment
- Prior experience or working knowledge in FX dealing or FX structured solutions is a strong advantage
- Proficiency in English is required and the ability to read and write Chinese would be an advantage in order to support business from the North Asian markets and Chinese-speaking clients (China, HK and Taiwan)
