Our client is a leading multi-asset brokerage firm with presence across several countries in Asia and a pioneer member of the Securities & Derivatives, Trading and Clearing Member of Singapore Exchange, ICE Futures Singapore and ICE Clear Singapore.
Reporting to the Team Lead / Head, you will work closely with Relationship Managers (RMs) to assist in client onboarding and support (mainly Institutional and Corporate clients from Japan).
You will assist RMs in new accounts onboarding and will perform Account Opening checks, including KYC, AML, and customer Due Diligence checks, etc. You will coordinate with the Front/ Middle/ Back office to provide prompt pre and post sales service functions for customer problem resolution.
You will liaise directly with clients to ensure their accounts are set up with complete functionality on the trading platforms. You will support the RM in initiatives and marketing plans, and assist in maintaining the necessary information/ documentation properly and in compliance with the rules and regulations.
You will assist in process reviews and process re-engineering to improve internal controls and work efficiencies. You will also prepare monthly reports, i.e. business reports and marketing reports and perform other ad-hoc duties assigned.
- Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy/ Business/ Finance or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of or experience in securities, derivatives, LFX, and private banking industry will be advantageous
- Proficiency in English and Japanese is mandatory for liaising with Japanese clients
- Able to travel
- Positive, meticulous, systematic, assertive and analytical
- Possess strong problem-solving skills, and good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work under tight timelines and pressure
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
