Our client is a leading multi-asset brokerage firm with presence across several countries in Asia and a pioneer member of the Securities & Derivatives, Trading and Clearing Member of Singapore Exchange, ICE Futures Singapore and ICE Clear Singapore.
Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with institutional clients throughout the APAC region.
You will be responsible for the execution of the sales strategy, business development, and marketing of the company’s solutions to the targeted clients. You will drive the process from originating new client opportunities and ensuring smooth rollouts to successful commercialization.
You will build effective relationships with clients to develop revenue opportunities and deliver a high quality of service. You will source and establish contact with prospects through referrals from the existing clients and your internal relationships with other channels. You will work and coordinate with the various departments such as IT, Dealing and Operation to service clients’ needs.
You will work with the Risk Management team to manage clients’ margin requirements and maintenance while observing risk exposure with close monitoring. You will participate in the company’s marketing activities and work on a team level to identify new opportunities. You will also provide feedback on customer demand and make recommendations to drive product innovation.
- Degree holder in the relevant majors
- Must possess the required local licenses
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with institutional clients or institutional sales experience is preferred
- Proficiency in English and Japanese is mandatory for liaising with Japanese clients
- Preferably with a good track record in sales and customer acquisition experience
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong analytical skills, excellent business acumen, and the ability to deliver targets
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization
- Ability to focus and prioritize the key initiatives across a broad range of opportunities and relationships
- Possess good understanding of the commodities markets, derivatives instruments, and risk management principles
