About the job
You will provide administrative support to Team Leaders (TL) and Relationship Managers (RM) for private banking client accounts booked in Singapore.
You will support the RM in regard to client account administration, client servicing and retention efforts. You will act as the liaison with the internal departments regarding administrative matters concerning execution and settlement of trades, delivery of securities, corporate action, payment and receipt of funds, renewal and repayment of loans. You will also be the liaison with other financial institutions and service providers regarding account opening requests and other clients’ administrative matters.
You will check the daily transaction list to ensure trades are processed correctly; prepare and send trade confirmations to clients; and monitor and arrange for settlement of trades. You will prepare the payment orders; input orders for securities, forex and money market into the system, as well as prepare and follow up on account opening documentation.
You will maintain and update spreadsheets for selected clients; print the valuation reports and prepare client’s outstanding documents, brochures and investment and research materials for the RM’s business trips. You will assist the TLs/ RMs in making sure there are no outstanding items relating to client administration matters.
Other permanent responsibilities include account opening, trading matters, marketing support, administrative support and any other duties as assigned by superiors.
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in a Bank (preferably a private bank)
- Proven track record in administrative and execution work
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
- Strong team player who can work under tight timelines
- Passed CACS Paper 1 and 2
- Good spoken and written English and Chinese
