This is an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure to the dynamic world of technology with a growing venture capital firm, backed by a $30B AUM consumer finance company.

This role will revolve around fund accounting, fund administration, compliance reporting, financial and office management. In addition to strong financial acumen, we are seeking professionals who relish the opportunity to interact with founders and senior financial leaders within the region, building the next generation of technology companies.

You will engage with senior leadership of the portfolio companies, including but not limited to founders and CFOs, to ensure that the financial information of the investments are obtained on a regular basis, while balancing the needs and constraints of these portfolio companies e.g. annual audited financial statements, latest cap table, latest financial projection.

You will prepare the fair valuation template that is in accordance with the finance template for quarterly reporting to the Regional Finance Director and for purpose of statutory audit. Information has to be filled in the template used for annual statutory reporting. You will support the Finance Director in building the consolidated financial and segment reporting for both HQ and local statutory reporting requirement (IFRS).

You will ensure all closing docs are complete and properly itemized and filed in the share drive accessed by both the firm and the Finance Team. You will ensure closing document are complete before initiating payment request to the Finance Team.

  • Minimum 3 years of fund management experience
  • Disciplined and organized individual who can diligently follow up with investment document
  • Confident and personable given the frequent interaction with senior leaders of portfolio companies
  • Some finance and or accounting literacy (e.g. module in accounting/ finance) will be a plus or at least demonstrate the ability to appreciate financial/ statutory audit requirements
  • Good with MS Excel
