As a Light-Ends Derivative Trader, you will play a lead role managing the risks of a Light-Ends derivatives trading book, with particular focus on Petrochemicals, Naphtha and LPG.
This role will include market-making, hedging and managing a portfolio of trading risk. It will also involve working closely with a regional sales team, expanding upon an existing business.
You will work closely with a team of global traders, adding value to the global team by generating trade ideas and providing high-level market colour.
You will manage a light-ends derivatives trading book, with particular focus on petrochemicals, naphtha and LPG and develop trade ideas – inclusive of building and maintaining trading models – to support a global trading team and capitalize on profitable trading opportunities.
You will collaborate with the onshore and offshore regional sales, building upon an existing business, to make it bigger.
- University degree, preferably in mathematics, finance or engineering
- At least 2 – 5 years of relevant Oil Trading experience (Trade House, Oil Major, NOC, Bank). Preferably, with some specialization in Petrochemicals, Naphtha and LPG
- Collaborative attitude and strong interpersonal skills
- Programming skills (VBA, Python, C+ or other) welcomed
- Good command of English, with Mandarin, Korean, Japanese capability welcomed
