As Managing Director of WMRC, John Koh is responsible for the company’s overall strategic direction and plays a leading role in executing and promoting the company’s business model. John’s private banking experience started with Fortis Bank MeesPierson Asia and subsequently he was a Relationship Manager with Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management. John has previously also worked as a management consultant with the Strategic Change Group of PwC Consulting in Tokyo. Throughout his career, John has held several key sales and managerial positions in a variety of industries including Financial Services, Technology, Consumer Electronics, & Conglomerate.

John holds double master degrees – an MSc in Wealth Management jointly awarded by the Singapore Management University, Wealth Management Institute and the Swiss Finance Institute, and an MBA from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and Japan-America Institute of Management Science (JAIMS), receiving the Fujitsu’s Asia Pacific Scholarship and graduating with the Paula & A. Wong’s award for outstanding leadership and entrepreneurial qualities. John earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical & Production Engineering graduating with 2nd class honors from the Nanyang Technological University, and has also obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from the Singapore Institute of Management.
