You will oversee the full spectrum of financial accounting and reporting functions. 

You will coordinate month-end system and financial closing of accounts; ensure full compliance with Group/ IFRS Accounting policies; and review regulatory & Head Office returns for submission to group and local authorities in compliance with the regulatory reporting framework.  You will also be responsible for the review and monitoring of compliance with MAS and SGX regulatory ratios in liaison with Compliance, Treasury, business lines and departments concerned.  You will coordinate the preparation of local and overseas statutory reporting to the authorities in liaison with external auditors; perform financial analysis and control; review and streamline the processes and procedures; and coordinate financial reporting related projects.

Pre-requisites:

• Qualified accountant with more than 7 years of relevant experience in the financial reporting field (banking industry)
• Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and International Accounting Standards
• Excellent understanding of regulatory environment and reporting requirements
• Hands-on experience in handling daily accounting and operational issues
• Able to work independently, have an inquisitive mind and interest in taking on new challenges
• Good team leader with strong interpersonal skills and experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
