You will build a profitable structured trade and commodity finance portfolio of local and regional corporate clients in energy, soft and hard commodities that meet the Bank’s criteria and credit standards.
You will market the Bank’s structured trade services and structured innovative financing solutions to prospective targeted clients in the targeted commodity markets. You will generate excellent returns on risk-adjusted assets and equity consistent and commensurate with the Bank’s acceptable risk parameters and in line with stakeholders’ expectations. You will identify and develop new markets, structured trade financing products and services. You will also prepare credit applications, credit renewal and undertakes periodic review of credit files and structured trade and commodity finance facilities. You will develop and manage the bilateral relationships with existing clients in the structured trade and commodity finance portfolio.
Pre-requisites:
- Degree in banking, accountancy or business administration
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in active structured trade and commodity finance banks
- Extensive and wide customer base and contacts in energy, soft and hard commodities
- Good hands-on experience and knowledge in structuring trade financing solutions tailored to the specific needs of structured trade and commodity finance clients
- Good knowledge of local and regional commodity markets
- Good understanding and appreciation, as well as ability to mitigate transactional risks in structured trade and commodity finance transactions
- Strong marketing and negotiation skills
- Good team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent hands-on computer skills
