You will supervise the Investment Risk & Control team and assists the Head of Investment in overseeing the daily operational and product risk management issues. 

You will supervise the provision of daily administrative and business support to various Product Teams; perform oversight of the day-to-day operations and exceptions of the Equity Dealing Desk.  You will coordinate with the various parties on process streamlining; monitor the compliance and implementation of Group policies, audit and regulatory requirements.  You will provide daily administrative and business support to the Product Teams; update the dealing authorities and limits for all dealing staffs annually; and perform administrative oversight on daily operations and exceptions of the Equity Dealing Desk.  You will participate in the implementation of new workflows and systems; liaise with Group HQ and other PB centers on launching cross-border projects in Singapore. 

You will review the procedures and systems for effective product risk management, and ensure the strict implementation and adherence of all audit recommendations.  You will ensure the trades executed meet Group policies and regulatory requirements; and complete quarterly compliance certification questionnaires.  You will review marketing materials/ literature and proactively assist management in identifying and containing risks with regard to product promotions.  You will oversee the simplified product approval process and maintain the Bank's internal control standards, including the timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.

Pre-requisites:

• Degree holder
• Minimum 10 years or relevant experience in the banking industry, preferable in private banking environment
• CFA or CIPM would be preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage and work with people at all levels are essential for this role
