You will manage all reporting works for USGAAP and SGGAAP including reviewing valuation production and recommending valuation basis; compliance with valuation controls and internal/ regulatory standards; preparing Source of Earnings analysis and reports; basis changes, filing of annual returns and audit; and meeting any other regulatory/ corporate reporting requirements such as quarterly statutory filing, basis change, valuation control and active involvement in external audits. You will be responsible for experience studies, reinsurance, actuarial services and projects; and will carry out reviews of Mortality, morbidity, persistency, withdrawal and expense assumptions and work with pricing actuary to recommend appropriate assumptions. You will keep abreast of emerging standards and be compliant with corporate standards; be involved in reinsurance management and reviews; and provide actuarial services and support projects related to business initiatives such as M&A and capitals. You will second the Appointed Actuary when the need arises.
Pre-requisites:
- University degree holder
- Qualified member of an accredited actuarial organization
- At least 8 years of work experience in life insurance with 2 years in a management position
